Like most girls, I spent my whole life daydreaming about my prince charming. Â How would we meet? Would I stumble into his arms after tripping like all my favorite rom coms? Would I meet him in a quaint little coffee shop downtown? Or would we meet at a bookstore while simultaneously reaching for the same book?
All those ideas were really cute, but to be honest, I think falling in love in real life is way, WAY cooler.
Turns out the love of my life was someone I knew since I was a freshman in High School. He actually liked my best friend  (ahem, its okay hunny, I forgive you).Â
So ladies, if you haven't met the one yet, don't worry, you probably already know him. Or you'll meet him soon, and it'll probably be in a not so cutesy way (but don't worry, how you met will end up being really irrelevant compare to the rest of the adventures you'll end up sharing).Â
Falling in love...it's nothing like I imagined. Love isn't always the fancy dinners and roses us women usually envision when we think of love. I actually think real love is better.
Love is buying three dollar Target Christmas socks and wearing them together.
Love is staying in all day watching movies on Netflix while eating Mac'n Cheese in bed.Â
Love is eating McDonald's and throwing fries at each other because it isn't about what you guys are doing, as long as you're doing it together.
Love is  going on adventures trying to embarrass each other just for the fun of it.
Love is waking up in the middle of the night smiling ear to ear because you're loved by the most awesome person alive.
Love is fighting for each other, believing in one another, and working through all the little fights because your love for that person is worth WAY more than the little arguments.
Love is going through life with your best friend.Â
Ladies, when you feel that, "This is what love was suppose to feel like all along",
that's when you've found your Randall.Â
