Yes, one of fashion's biggest nights occurs every 1st Monday of May. If you are not sure what the Met Gala is, I'll break it down in simple terms. The Met Gala is a fundraiser event that raises money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A bunch of A-list celebrities are invited by Vogue's very own Anna Wintour for a dinner and show but are expected to show up in their best attire.
This year's theme is camp. It's not a style that is very popular in the mainstream culture but when it comes to queer culture, it is extremely influential as it stems from the ball culture scene and black drag queens in New York. It is between the thin line of unconventional and glamour. Here are some of my favorite looks of the night.
Harry Styles

From being one of the youngest co-chair hosts in the history of the gala, he really turned looks with this gender-bending look.
Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita really took camp and defined it with this look
Ezra Miller

From the makeup to the outfit, it brings fashion to a whole other level.
Zendaya

Zendaya took it back to her Disney years but interpreted it into a different way.
Ciara

The hair completes this look and goes well with the green feathery look.
Billy Porter

Billy looks like an Egyptian god in this all gold look.
Kacey Musgraves

The princess of country brought Barbie to life.
Darren Criss

Darren never disappoints with his looks and he did not disappoint this time either.
Lady Gaga

The queen of night and the most talked about celeb of the gala. Gaga turned it out and performed a whole show with her 4 different looks on the carpet.
Camp can be interpreted in multiple different ways and these are just some of the looks that I really thought embodied the style.
