Every college student out there understands what it means to look forward to Christmas break. After spending almost five months doing school work, working, doing extracurricular activities, and managing to make it through finals week, we all tend to be ready to run through those doors and throw our deuces up while doing it. By the time Christmas break comes around, we are so tense and stressed you tend to see it in our attitudes, but we still manage to get through the rest of the semester till those few weeks come. So what exactly makes us be able to hold on and keep our sanity? It is the thought of Christmas break, and all the things that we will be doing to rest up and revitalize ourselves.

Some people use Christmas break as a time to travel and visit family, others use it as a time to go on many adventures such as mission trips, some use it to work and make that money, and others use it like how I will be using it this year, and that is just to rest. I am look forward to Christmas break the most this year because I will be able to rest and come back refreshed and ready for next semester. After having an extremely long semester, I need a break to rejuvenate myself. I fell sick, fell behind in classes, had to drop two class, and had to catch up in others while being an RA and a TA. I also had to deal with my own personal family and non-family related problems which did not make things better. However, through all of that I still managed to make it this far, but now I am ready and looking forward to a break.

I am looking forward to being home and being able to sleep all day without having to worry about classes and homework to do. I am looking forward to just putting my feet up with some cappuccino, and watching some new TV show that I will probably binge watch all break. I am also really looking forward to going to church and going to my church's Christmas play that they put on every year. The thing I am looking forward to the most; however, is being able to relax and celebrate the time that has been set aside to celebrate Christ. For me this break is going to be very refreshing, and I expect it to be very relaxing. I do not have to work this year which is a little unfortunate but at the same time good because I need to rest. With all the stress that has happened during these first five months of the school year, I am just looking forward to being able to relax, and chill until next semester.

I hope everyone else is able to have a stress-free break like I plan to have, and I hope we all get enough rest, and come back strong to finish our next semester of college.
