Make Everyday The Best Day Ever

Living Life To The Fullest
Max Phannenstiel

Life is a fragile and precious thing that cannot be taken for granted. It can be taken away from us at any given moment. There is no time to wait for anything in life because you do not know when it is going to end.

There are things that everyone wants to do in their lives. Most people are waiting to do these things. Waiting for what? You have no idea when your life may end and there is no point in waiting. What’s stopping you? You need to get out there and make the most with what you have. Do the things you have been dreaming of and enjoy every second of it. This life we have is meant to be lived and anything less than that should never happen. Follow your dreams and reach your goals. Do not wait for anything. Go out and live the life you have dreamed of because it could all be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. Go confidently at what you want and live the life you want to live.

The reality is that anyone around us could have their lives end at any point. Be straightforward with people and say things how they are. Put everything out there because you may regret it if it is too late. If you have something to say to someone, say it. If you have somewhere you want to go, then go there. If you have something you want to do, then do it. What is holding you back?

This unexpected element that resides in life holds people back. Many people are scared to take a chance and take a leap into the dark. The unknown is terrifying to many people and putting yourself out there means embracing the unknown with open arms. However, there is no time to wait. There is no time to be afraid of what might happen. Put yourself out there and take a risk because if you never do, you will regret it forever. Isn’t failing better than not knowing what would have happened? This is what makes us grow and become the people we are destined to be. Put yourself out there and discover who you truly are, there is no time to wait.

Please don’t wait for anyone or anything to start living the life you have always wanted. Make it happen. Don’t wait, the time is now. Go out there and start living the best life you can imagine for yourself. Live as if today was your last day. Live like that everyday.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
