LM5 Isn't Just For Little Mix Fans, It's For Everybody

In This Article:

With a name like LM5 and lyrics talking about stanning themselves, Little Mix's new album sounds like it just hopped out of stan Twitter. Little Mix is the biggest girl band on the planet right now and even though they haven't made their crucial break into the U.S. music scene, this album might finally be their shot.

1. "The National Manthem"

THE HARMONIES OMG. For real, Little Mix are some of the most talented women on the planet. In that 29 second song, I was literally reborn.

2. "Woman Like Me" (feat. Nicki Minaj)

When this single dropped, I was shook. I know Little Mix have wanted to work with Nicki Minaj for years and between the vocals and the music video, it's pretty evident why this has been one of my favorite songs.

3. "Think About Us"

The beat of this song, wow. I love the piano before the chorus is incredible too.

4. "Strip" (feat. Sharaya J)

When the song first started, I wasn't too sure about the spoken verses initially but once the music and the beat came in, I loved it. The lyrics are absolutely amazing, they're so empowering and Sharaya's verse compliments the song perfectly.

5. "Monster In Me"

This song is so soft and powerful, I love her.

6. "Joan of Arc"

When this single came out, I literally listened to it on repeat for hours. I feel like a bad bitch when I play it and the lyrics are incredible.

7. "Love a Girl Right"

Dangggg, this song is an absolute bop. The girls sound so good and I love the guitar in it.

8. "American Boy"

The beat on this song is lit af, not one of my favorite songs off the album but I'm still a fan!

9. "Told You So"

This tune is so soft and calming, wow!! We love some supportive icons!

10. "Wasabi"

This is definitely one of the best bangers off this album!! The girls sound so good and the lyrics flow together so well.

11. "More Than Words" (feat. Kamille)

The chorus of this song is something else!! Kamille's feature fits with the girls' vocals perfectly as well.

12. "Motivate"

This song makes me wanna dance until I drop, like seriously someone make a remix and play this at the clubs.

13. "Notice"

Perrie's voice sounds so strong and powerful in this bop, their harmonies are all just so on LOCK.

14. "The Cure"

This song is absolutely amazing, I'm definitely listening to this the next time I'm feeling down.

15. "Forget You Not"

This song is honestly so sweet! 10/10!

16. "Woman's World"

Since the last two songs on the album are a stripped version of a song previously on the album and a single with another artist, I consider this song the last one on the album and just wow. What a way to end it. It's a perfect depiction of the things that happen to women in the world today and I think Little Mix are just incredible artists and feminists.

17. "The Cure" Stripped

Somehow this version of the song is even better than the original?? I think it's because the listeners can really hear the beautiful harmonies and I'm so thankful they put this on the album.

18. "Only You" (feat. Cheat Codes)

I remember when this song was dropped and I was so excited to get new Little Mix content and the beat drop really disappointed me. It isn't horrible but it definitely is at the bottom of my ranking for the LM5 album.

Basically, LM5 is Little Mix's best album and they truly outdid themselves with this album. Leigh Anne, Perrie, Jesy, and Jade are some very talented women that deserve some global recognition. So if the world could stop sleeping on Little Mix, that'd be fantastic!! Stream LM5 on Amazon, Spotify, iTunes, any music platform you can think of!!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
