Hey you,

I know you feel like the past few years have flown by, and they have, but 2018 is going to be a great year, you already have so much planned.

You're finally getting to apply for the Teacher Education Program. Which means you will be a senior! (Although you actually will still have an extra year left).

You turn 21 this year, and that will be so fun. Especially when your BEST friends come to see you in May.

And of course, camp will be here before you know it too, and you will be back at your happy place. But that does always end in a flash, so experience so much more.

And don't forget that this is the year that you will actually stick to a workout plan. You have plenty of time in your schedule, trust me I made it that way. That spare time is not meant to be watching Netflix. However, you can still watch while you work on an elliptical.

You will also get another job, three is just not cutting it. Especially if you plan to buy a car in the spring. But once you have that car, think about the relief you will feel. Not having one has been difficult. The accomplishment of being able to make that large purchase will be worth it.

You will also put yourself out there. Do as much as you can while you have the opportunity to do so.

The years go by so fast. 21 years you have been alive and it feels like you are just getting started. But that is what your twenties are for! Get out there and take this year by storm.

Best of luck,

Me

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
