Insecurity is something that occurs in all walks of life at all different times. It's a tough battle, but this letter is to let you know that you're not alone regardless of who you are or what you do.

If you're insecure, remember that nothing is your fault. No matter who tells you that you are not beautiful (even if it's you), you are a beautiful human being in every way. It's okay to feel insecure but please remember to believe in yourself. It's so important that you believe in yourself because there is nobody more perfect than you. You inspire so many others without even realizing it, you are sweet, caring, kind, friendly and most importantly you can do anything that you put your mind to. It doesn't matter how big or small the task is either; whether you are applying for a job or not sure about the dress you want to wear. Just put a smile on your face, go out and sell yourself. I know it sounds difficult, but encourage yourself, tell yourself that you can do it and you will conquer everything you wish to accomplish even if it's just one thing at a time. When you are insecure remember that you have to put yourself before anybody else. Remember to eat, remember to treat yourself to things you like, take the time to take a shower or bath, and rock clothes that you know you like best. No two people look the same in the clothes you wear or the hairstyle you have but just remember you look like yourself and there is nothing more beautiful than that.

Always remember even in times that you can't believe in yourself, I believe in you. I will believe in you forever. You can get that job you want within time, you can ask that guy out if you really like him, and you can even get the haircut you've wanted for a while. And even when it feels like the world is crumbling beneath your feet, I will be here for you. You will get back on your feet and get what you want to be accomplished done, I promise. Just remember to be yourself and it will get you far.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
