I'm finally back from my finals week hiatus, and it's time to drop some knowledge on my loyal readers. Another new app has caught the attention of the masses. A trivia app that is unlike anything else out there and is great for people of all ages - HQ. Yes, another trending app designed to keep us occupied. So how does it work?

The way HQ is designed is relatively simple. 12 questions, all trivia related, and your goal is pretty straightforward. You must answer all 12 questions, with no wrong answers, and you win the grand prize at the end. The grand prize depends on the time of day and the amount of people that are playing during the time, so you can have a prize of anywhere from $1,000 to even $20,000+. The games are played every day at either 3 PM or 9 PM EST, and only 9 PM EST during the weekends. Fun fact: the founders of this app are also the founders of our gone, and soon-to-be reborn, social media app, Vine. I am really not sure how they are making money out of this app because there are no ads as of when this article was written; but let's be honest, it's a chance at free money, and we might as well take advantage. Those boys at Silicon Valley might be feeling generous during this time of year, or they just might be borderline crazy, but I digress.

I downloaded this app during my fraternity semi-formal as a way to entertain myself. After playing one round of this game, the news of this app spread throughout the entire event, and pretty soon everyone was playing it. Although it is easy to play this game, winning at this game is probably one of the hardest things not named the "SAT." The questions start easy, then somewhere along the way, they give you trick questions nicknamed "Savage Questions." These questions are ones you think you know, but they put a spin on it to eliminate players. Remember, the only winners in this game are the ones who answer all 12 questions correctly. You can possibly have over half a million players starting out, and in the end, only about 5-10 remain. There were some cases where there was only one player left standing, and that lucky nerd ended up taking the entire pot home single-handedly. The icing on the cake throughout all of this is the wonderful game show host, Scott Rogowsky, locally nicknamed as the "Quiz Daddy." This guy is really over the top, and he is very annoying; but he does keep our attention, I'll give him that. There was a replacement host at the Tuesday 9 PM game I just played, and he was cool too, but he was no Scott.

Want to try your hand at trivia? Download HQ and try it out! And no, they did not pay me to write this article, it's just that good of an app. It lags when more people are on it, but the chance of winning free cash is too great to pass up.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
