Specializing in a wide variety of cakes, Billy Angel Cake Company is an instagram-worthy cafe covered in white marble and decorations that make you feel like entering a palace. My favorites on the menu are the Rainbow Crepe and Black Tea Chiffon Cake!

2. Cafe Mula

Need a place to unwind after a long day of exploring the busy city of Seoul? Take a bite of the green tea tiramisu while enjoying a cup of tea in Cafe Mula! The interior is filled with different plants and fully transparent windows that de-stress you and provide an immersive experience of the cafe.

3. Tryst

Providing exceptional brunch, dessert and dinner, Tryst is the perfect place to go both during day and night. Try the kimchi-fried rice and rose pasta or enjoy a mojito while eating dinner.

4. Sona Cafe

Check out this small but quaint place for their specialty desserts and seasonal specials! Located in the street of Garosu-gil, Sona Cafe has a exclusive dessert menu and is the perfect place to enjoy a nice conversation while sipping on coffee.

Another cafe inspired by a fashion brand, Corso Como Cafe has a spacious interior with different cubicles to appreciate a private conversation with friends. I love to visit in the summer because they serve delicious shaved-ice bingsoo to cool off the summer heat.

A less popularized place but still worth visiting, Cafe Grasse reminds you of brunching in Los Angeles with home-made avocado toast and italian fusion food.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything.
