10 Things Your Kitten Wants You To Know
Raven Bowman

Kittens are an awesome addition to any family, but here are some things to keep in mind before you get your kitten.

I am afraid.

But please be patient. I am sorry I kept you up all night the first time I moved into your home.

Please get me fixed when I am of age.

There are already so many unwanted cats on the streets. there does not need tp be more. It will also help me be a better kitten to you.

A dirty litter box stresses me out.

Or a small one does as well. Please keep it cleaned often.

Sometimes I need space.

I would love to have a sturdy cat tree next to a window or a low places where no one can bother me.

I can be independent.

I would prefer not to be left home for days on it, I could easily get hurt.

Things happen and sometimes I may escape.

It might be a good idea to get me microchipped to increase the chances of me being returned to you.

I am not going to be a kitten forever.

Giphy

Please love me when I am no longer tiny and cute.

I love to sleep.

I will sleep a lot of the day away.

I also love to play.

Please take the time to play with me everyday. It will help me grow into a confident feline.

 I love you.

I purposely do not do things out of spite... or do I?

All I ask is that you care for me like I am part of your family, because I am.

The Norse Creation Myth

The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
