In 2007, a sex tape was released featuring the one and only, Kim Kardashian. This tape somehow made the entire Kardashian family famous. Why though? Why do they get so much attention? There's nothing special about them. They're just like any other family, except with 1000 times more drama. In fact, here are 11 reasons why they really are irrelevant.

1. Their jump to fame was through a sex tape

Somehow this catapulted the whole family to fame, which makes no sense because it only involved Kim.

2. They don't do anything productive with their lives

I mean, they model and have their own clothing/make-up brands, but they don't really do anything to earn all their millions.

3. Their reality show is pointless

They don't really do anything on their reality show either. They mostly just do normal, everyday, or family things. There's nothing special here.

4. Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner gained fame just for a sex change

I'm not hating or judging because to each his own, but nowadays sex changes are common. So many people decide to get sex changes so why is this case special?

5. They also gave Kylie her own spin-off reality show

Kylie has made a name for herself, but why does she need her own reality show? She was already featured with her family on one reality show so why a second one?

6. Despite having millions to replace it, Kim losing an earring was like the end of the world

Just buy a new pair, Kim.

7. Kim hid her kids from the reality show cameras for awhile and Kylie hid her pregnancy

If you really don't want your kids in the limelight, then take a step back from the cameras and focus on your family. Don't hide them from your world.

8. They spend tons of their money on RIDICULOUS plastic surgery

If you have that much money, yeah why not spend it on whatever, but what is the point in making your body so fake and unproportional? Like sorry, Kim, but your butt looks ridiculous.

9. They're kind of shallow

Then maybe don't have kids? I mean, not everything is about you, though.

10. Scott Disick was the only one who called them out

But now that he's gone, there's no one there to tell them how dumb they're being.

11. All the girls are getting married or starting to have kids. It's time to act like adults.

Their focus shouldn't be on all the celeb drama or the reality show. Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Kylie have kids so it's time they all grew up and focused on their children.

I don't hate the Kardashians, however, they're very irrelevant. There's no reason they should get the attention that they do because for the most part, their lives consist of everything a normal family's does.
