I am about to change your life with two words: John. Mulaney. John Mulaney may just be the funniest man on the planet, and I highly recommend EVERYONE check out his stuff on Netflix ("New in Town" and "The Comeback Kid"). It will have you laughing the whole time, non-stop. And, not just like laughing but crying laughing — it's that good. Even if you have previously never been a fan of stand-up comedy, John Mulaney will change your mind. Personally, it is very easy to make me laugh and laugh hard, but I think John Mulaney took it up a notch.

The jokes NEVER. GET. OLD. I have watched both of his shows on Netflix about five times each, and I laugh harder each time. His jokes are timeless and they literally get funnier every time. Even now when I know what joke is coming, I laugh hard, just before he even says the joke, then the actual joke makes me laugh even harder.
John Mulaney's whole stage presence is what really brings it all together. He is very active on the stage, he doesn't just stand there awkwardly and tell jokes. He makes it all into a story and some of what he does on stage is what makes it even funnier. He does his best to act out what he is saying as he is saying it to add to the comedy.
Even when he roasts some of the shows I love I can't help but laugh because it's always so true. He is not going on stage to tell something that isn't true, he is always brutally honest in his performances. I remember watching one of his shows where he roasted HGTV, now I am a big fan of HGTV, but what he said about it was very true and super funny.
He also had a bit about Law and Order: SVU in one of his shows, and it is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. He spends the time impersonating Ice T, using real things that he has actually said on SVU. He used real quotes then added in his own stuff to fit with the joke.
These aren't even the start of all the John Mulaney jokes I can talk about, but I think his comedy is something you need to experience for yourself. Put down whatever you are doing right now, get onto Netflix and sit back, relax, and get ready to laugh. Maybe even cry. He is just that good.
