One of my big resolutions for this year is to work on my animating and art skills more than ever, especially since I will be starting my junior year of college in the Fall. That's not far away from graduation! And I want to make sure my resume is buffed up well enough for when I start applying for internships and jobs. Plus, any practice with animation or Adobe programs is always beneficial!

So for each last Friday of the month I will be compositing a video of the animations or storyboards or anything that I have worked on that month. And here is January's!

Here are the videos in order:

Part 13 of a PMV MAP (picture music video multi-animator project), featuring my characters Hokey and Hoodie to the song "Raindrops" by Regina Spektor

Part 3 and 4 of another PMV MAP, featuring my characters Chanty and Pertelote to the song "Love Me Again" by John Newman

Reference Animation done for Character Animation, where we had to make a rough animation based off of a live-action pantomime

Living Object Animation done for Character Animation, still a work in progress! We have to bring a household object to life and give it personality. I chose a dancing iPod!

Not a bad start to the year! Hopefully in February I can get even more done.

Where do we begin when we start talking about our roommates? You practically spend every moment with them, they become your second family and they deal with you at your best and at your absolute worst. They are there to make you laugh just a little harder, cry a little less and make each day a little better. We often forget to thank them for the little things that they do to make college even a tiny bit easier and more fun. This list of 26 things are what you should thank your roommates for right this minute and every day that you live with them.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Bucket List To Live In The Now

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
