A common saying is that a girl has three important people in her life; her best friend, her boyfriend and her true love. For me, the most important part of the saying is the last line which reads, "but you're really lucky if they're all the same person." It relates to my life because I consider my boyfriend my best friend.

I feel that the most amazing best friend I have ever had is the same man whose last name I hope to take someday. I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything. I think that for some, the idea of being best friends with your boyfriend seems hard to grasp but, for me, it's rather simple. He's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, the person who knows me better than anyone, the person who I want a family with and the person who makes me the happiest every single day. He's the person I can let my guard down with and the person who knows all my flaws and still loves me. I see us spending time together building our relationship and knowing that in the future we won't be tired of each other.

So if anyone tries to make you feel like spending so much time together is wrong, know that you're not wrong. You have the freedom to spend time with whoever you want. Aren't we always told that you should marry your best friend? As a married couple, you will spend your entire lives living in the same house and sleeping in the same bed. If anything, the time you spend together now prepares you for the time you'll spend together as adults.
