As an introvert and girlfriend myself, I have a few reasons why introverted women make the best girlfriends. Now I am not implying that extroverted women do not make good companions, I'm just putting a personal twist on my introverted love life.

1. We nap a lot.

This is probably the best reason of them all because I love to nap and stay inside. I am a natural homebody, and being in social situations tends to exhaust me. So when we are tired of being out and about, I am all for going home to lay on the couch and binge watch my favorite show with my S.O.

2. We listen to your problems.

Introverts are known to listen more than they talk. So if you ever have a bad day and need to get it off of your chest, you bet I will be there to listen. I will even offer you advice or share the silence with you if that's what you need.

3. We're very into our feelings.

Since introverts spend a lot of time self-reflecting on their own feelings, we love to know about other's as well. As an introverted girlfriend, I love to tune into your feelings, whether those feelings are about me or anything else.

4. We surround ourselves with good people.

Introverts are careful with who they associate themselves with. Many times introverts click with extroverts who help bring their social side out when they need it. We are very intuitive in our friendships and surround ourselves with people we know who understand us and are willing to accept us.

This means that we also do the same for others. Introverted girlfriends understand their partner's quirks and accept them for just who they are.

5. We won't spend hours shopping or at the club.

As previously stated, if you're not into spending hours shopping or being out in town, there's good news because neither are we! Sure from time to time, we like to get out of the house but we don't mind a Friday night staying in watching movies or reading.

6. We like our alone time too.

You won't ever have to worry about us being too clingy or wanting to spend every second of every day with you because introverts need their alone time too. Introverts need days to themselves sometimes more than others and that's okay.

7.We're quiet, but we have confidence.

Introverted women are quiet, but this does not mean that we have low self-esteem. We are very confident women, mainly because we spend a lot of time with ourselves and getting to know the true us and what makes us happy. So if you're dating an introverted woman congratulations, you are one of the things that makes her happy!

8. We don't care about popularity.

Introverted women can be homebodies sometimes, but that doesn't mean we don't have friends or like social interaction. Introverted women just tend to have a few close friends rather than millions of them.

Introverted women are a special kind and we love our beds, quiet time, and naps. Extroverted women are just as special too and have their own quirks that make them awesome girlfriends too. Every girl has their own love language specific to their personality so it is always important to get to know the person you're dating and what makes them unique!
