How Il Volo Conquered The World

They are known all over the world, not only in Italy, their homeland, but their success has become international, they received a world-wide achievement.

We shall not forget that they are very young, and this year they have already celebrated ten years of their career. They started at the dawn of their youth, they were young boys when they decided to participate in Antonella Clerici's "Ti lascio una canzone" and thanks to their amazing voices and thanks to their talent they won, and from here, they started their own music career in Italy and abroad.

In these ten years their success, their talent was spread worldwide.

They performed in towns like Taormina, or Acireale, and in big cities like Verona, not only in Italy, but even in Russia, in the States, in South America, in Japan. It's not easy to have this great success, to travel around the world and to perform together with great artists like: Barbara Streisand, Placido Domingo, Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Toto Cutugno, and even with Anastasia for an Elvis Presley tribute.

These ten years have been very full of talent, success and extraordinary music.

To become popular you don't need to win a talent show or a festival, if you're good, your music will survive decades, otherwise it will be just a hit for a couple of months or a year and then it will be forgotten.

The 6th of February, they performed at Radio City Music Hall, and for the third time it was all sold out. They're still around the States busy with their concerts.

It's useless to repeat how good they are, we can count the numbers, all the people that went to see the concerts, all the fans that love them and all the love they have from the world: Italians and foreigners.

Only talent, good music and extraordinary voices will last forever.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
