I swear that nothing has to end if we just choose to love each other again..

Your voice decreases into a whisper

Your head drops to the ground

My eyes tries to find yours

I swear that I am trying my best


I reach out to you with my outstretched hand

But your hand escapes from my directions that all my fingertips travel in.

I desperately sway and swerve

In order to grasp you tight

I swear, I just want you back into my arms

Your head next to my resting shoulders.


Your tone changes

Your eyelid droops

Your body sags

Your legs tilt

I swear, I'll keep you alive even if I'm tired myself


You're laying on your bed

With your phone held high above you

Your covers covered halfway

I swear, I'll make the ends meet


I know my promises may mean nothing

My words may just fade in your mind

But my actions will always stay the same

I swear of it.


I swear...

I will keep going after you

Even if you choose to keep

Running away

or

Avoiding me.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
