Everyone has dreams. People start dreaming from when they're young, and want to be firefighters or ballerinas or singers. And as they grow, their dreams grow with them and develop into something that reflects the. Dreams change into wanting a career, a family, true love, and happiness in life, and anything in between. They're unique to each person and to each personality, and a person's dreams and desires tells a lot about them and what kind of person they are, and its really interesting to compare these dreams with those of others around them. So I asked 10 people if they had any dreams and what they are.

Maria Martinez, 18

2. "I want to be genuinely happy with myself and the people in my life."

Donya Moghaddari, 17

Daniel Woods, 17

10. "I want to be a point in my life where I am able to reflect and positively define my growth in all spheres of my life. I want to grow as a person, make more emotional connections with people, help people help themselves and love people uninhibitedly. I want to grow professionally as a young scholar, learn how to learn, learn how I specifically learn as an individual and pursue my academic interests."

Ifrah Waris, 21

Everyone shares similar wants and desires- happiness, success, money, fame- but seeing the unique dreams that each person has makes us understand how special each person is and how we all have things we want, and that's what makes us human. We can connect with others through the fact that we all have things special and dear to us that we want to achieve.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
