Some girls open up easily. They will let people in like it is no big deal. It is easy for them to say what they are feeling. But that is not true for everyone. Some girls always act tough. They come off like nothing can ever get to them. Trouble at home, boy problems, friend troubles, she acts like nothing can touch her. She acts like she doesn’t care about anything, that she is too strong to be bothered with that stuff.
But the truth is, it is all an act.
Her heart breaks when people are rude to her. She cares for those around her more than they will ever know. She would do anything to help someone out. She would make her life harder, as long as it made someone else’s easier. She silently cries herself to sleep at night way too often. She is scared. She is insecure. But she would never let that show.
When you try to love a girl like this it can be hard. When she gets scared she will push you away. She will do things to see if you are going to walk away like everyone else has. She will not be very open about her feelings towards you. She might seem like she doesn't even care about you.
But that is not the truth.
If you really want to be a part of her life you are going to have to show that you deserve to be there. You are going to have to prove that you will not just walk out of her life when things get hard. You can never waver in your feelings for her, because it will make her feel safe enough to tell you her feelings for you. Even though she acts like the strong one, you will have to be strong for her. When she tells you just to forget about her, what she means is fight for her. She needs to know that she can trust you, because when she tried in the past it came back to bite her. You have to show her that you are different.
Although this sounds like a lot of work, I promise it will be worth it. When you show this girl that she can trust you and that you aren’t going anywhere, she is yours. All yours. She will be the most loyal and honest person you have in your life. She will be your number one fan and your biggest supporter. She will do thoughtful little things just to shows that she listens to you and that she cares. She will be there for you no matter what is going on. Once you have her you will have her forever.
Nothing that is worthwhile ever comes easy. That is so true when it comes to loving a girl that acts extremely tough. You might have to put in a little more time and energy than other girls, but the reward will be like nothing you ever imagined.
