A top social media platform, Instagram allows you to share videos and images very easily with users the world over. You can also view all that others post on the platform, which is used by so many people across the world. However, many Instagram users often wonder how to enlarge profile pictures of other users on the website. There is just the option to see a profile picture in a cropped version, and in a circular shape. You cannot tap to zoom and see the image in a full size, unlike what is possible on other social networking websites such as WhatsApp or Facebook.

Why Does Instagram Not Allow a Zoomed Profile Photo View?

It is debatable. This could be because Instagram wants to have accounts and photos load fast - whether in the web version or in the app version. When images are allowed to be displayed in a full size, the load time gets slower and the user experience is affected as a result. The internet speed varies across the world and that is probably the reason why in order to make the browsing and usage experience seamless, Instagram keeps the profile pictures as small in size as possible. There could also be some other technical issues that might be the reason for keeping the display photos reduced in size.

However, these are some hacks that you can use in order to enlarge any Instagram profile picture or DP and see it in a full-sized image.

InstaZoom

This website lets you zoom in display pictures of any Instagram profile and download them easily.
You have to visit the instazoom.org website.

Then, enter the username of any specific Instagram account into the search box and start looking for it by clicking on the magnifying glass icon. Alternatively, you can click on "Enter".

Once you have done this, the website will fetch the profile picture. You can see the display photo in a full size.

It is possible to view the picture in a full resolution. You may also use the "Full Screen Mode" to do it.

If you want, you may directly click on the image and download it to your device. You can even download and save other images posted in the Instagram account, which you like.

Inspect Element

This is much more time consuming, but is a workable solution for viewing Instagram profile pictures in a full size.

Visit the Instagram account of your choice.

Click on the profile image in your browser, preferably the Google Chrome browser.

Right click on the image.

Choose the 'Inspect' option from the displayed menu.

From the Inspect menu, choose the tab "Elements". The page will be displayed in an HTML format.

Click the arrow beside DIV, having a class of 'KL4Bh'.

After clicking on this arrow, you will find four different image source web addresses shown up.

Right click on the last image web address.

opt for the option 'Copy Link Address'. This would be the URL for the HD image of full size that you wish to see on Instagram.

You can view display pictures as well as any other photo posted on any Instagram account in this way.

Using this method, you can zoom the photo in the small Instagram profile circle easily on your browser. You can view it easily, without using any app or tool.

On Chrome Browser

It is another easy method that can be used to open and view images in a full size on web browsers. Remember that it works on just a few browsers out there, not all.

  • Use your PC browser and visit Instagram.com.
  • Sign into your Instagram account.
  • Next, open the preferred account profile.
  • Right-click on the profile picture or DP.
  • Click on "Open image in new tab" option.
  • The DP will be displayed in a new tab on your screen.
  • Pinch the image to zoom it, and get a full sized view of the same.

To be able to do this, you have to first log into your own Instagram account. Thus, you need to spend more time on this. Recently, Instagram has disabled the right click option on images as well. In a few browsers, however, the right-click option still works. In case you have such a browser, it might be possible for you to view and zoom Instagram profile pictures as well as any image posted by any user on any Instagram account. However, if it is a private account, it might not be possible to get a view.

Manipulate the URL

  • View the website of Instagram.
  • Now, sign into your account.
  • Open up the user's profile and see the display photo of the account.
  • Click on the picture to view it in a full sized version.
  • In the new page, you can find the image URL displayed at the top - in the address bar.
  • Type the number 0 before instagram. Click on enter to view the image in a full size on a new site.
  • Click "Save Image As". A dialog box will show up.
  • In the "Save As" dialog box, pick the destination folder where you would like to save the picture.
  • Click "Enter" to save the image in that destination.

These are some of the ways that are still working, when it comes to viewing the display photo of any user on Instagram. Keep in mind that there are many online tools and apps, as well as websites, which let you view profile pictures in a full size. But Instagram updates itself from time to time, and when that happens, these 3rd party tools get obsolete. Insta Zoom and the other methods recommended here are still useful and can actually let you zoom any Instagram account picture - be it a profile picture or any other image that is posted on the account.

Conclusion

If you want to save on time and view profile pictures on Instagram fast, Instazoom and the 0 method can work best for you. The others need you to log into your own Instagram account or perform some elaborate steps.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
