Are you constantly impressed with the people that always seem to miss their turn while driving? Do you wish that you could be as seemingly thoughtless as they are? Now you can be! As a professional wrong turn-taker, I am here with 15 great tips for how to get lost. Happy driving!

  1. Be confused about which way is right and which way is left.
  2. Try to do anything without a GPS.
  3. Get too into your jam session.
  4. Forget to put your turn signal on early enough.
  5. Have a really interesting and distracting conversation with the person in your passenger seat.
  6. Drive when you’re really tired.
  7. Change states on the interstate so that you’re nice and confused about exit numbers.
  8. Eat a snack that is too spicy, making your eyes watery so you don’t see your sign.
  9. Listen to a song that is too sad, making your eyes watery so you don’t see your sign.
  10. Follow someone else.
  11. Take another turn instead.
  12. Encounter a bizarre intersection.
  13. Encounter a bizarre pedestrian.
  14. Encounter a bizarre billboard.
  15. Overthink everything.
