How Much Do We Have In Common Quiz?
Katie Millard

InstagramHi! I'm Katie, and today, I'm curious how much we have in common, so I've compiled a list of specific things I do or like. Everything that also applies to you gets a point, and your total points out of 30 will mark how much we may get along. There's also plenty of opportunities for bonus points, and if you feel like you deserve a half-point, take it! I trust you. Happy quiz-taking!

1. Starting off easy, I always have extra room in my stomach for dessert, even if I was super full two minutes ago.

2. I never double knot my shoelaces, so they always come undone.

3. I love astrology! (If my Sagittarius sun, Aries moon, and Aries rising mean something to you, give yourself an extra point - and please don't judge me for my all-fire big 3)

4. I think the sugar cookies that just have sugar, no frosting, are highly underrated.

5. I love Taylor Swift, and will tolerate no slander of her.

6. While all ice cream is delicious (except obvious exceptions like butterscotch or raisin that shouldn't even count), mint chocolate chip is my ultimate favorite.

7. I'm a journalism major!

8. I have ADHD, and give yourself a bonus point if you were diagnosed late (I was 17).

9. Moderna vaccine!! If you are not vaccinated at all, however, I'm sorry, but please subtract a point.

10. I have never been a cheerleader before, but I have always really wanted to be.

11. I had braces twice!

12. I try and keep my nails painted, but I usually mess them up a little accidentally before they dry.

13. If you're self-confident, give yourself a point. While I'm working on it, I'm not necessarily there myself, so this is kind of an out-of-the-box question, but really I just want to be your friend.

14. I'm terrible at making friendship bracelets. If you can't, give yourself a point, and if you can, please teach me and I will love you forever.

15. I'm afraid of birds.

16. My phone is always charged and usually doesn't get below 15%.

17. I try to organize, but I really spend more time fantasizing about fun organizing techniques than actually using them, so I still procrastinate. But at least my notebooks look pretty!

18. I have a lot of likes that are kind of basic, but I'm also okay with that.

19. I LOVE when songs have smart lyrics.

20. My comfort show is Jane the Virgin.

21. I say "y'all" unironically.

22. I am hopelessly bad at video games. Like, 12th in Mario Kart every time.

23. I love when things have fun themes, and especially when people get really into them. I think it's wonderful when everyone's really enthusiastic and active in them especially. It's just so much fun.

24. Coffee and tea are both great, but iced>>>>hot. Bonus points if iced tea is slightly better in your mind too.

25. Sushi or a poke bowl can fix a bad day.

26. Slow walkers are the bane of my existence.

27. I think I look 5% better when I'm wearing a baseball hat.

28. I am happiest when I'm really busy, and when I'm not, my mental health is usually worse. If FOMO hits you hard, give yourself a bonus point, and also let's hang out, please! Problem solved.

29. Getting really specific now: I sleep with a rock under my pillow and have since I was 6. (If you sleep with a rock that's close enough. If it's really been since you were six, then wow you just win the whole quiz.)

30. I think happiness is and will always be more important than success. Life is short, be happy and make others happy and then you've really been successful.

ANSWERS:

0-5: We don't have much in common, and that's absolutely okay! The world needs lots of types of people. And they do say opposites attract!

6-10: Okay, honestly, I'm already a little impressed because some of these were incredibly specific. Also, I'm curious which of these were more universal experiences.

11-15: This is peak, close friend zone right here, because we can bond over some things and still teach each other more. You seem cool.

16-20: Okay, you seem very cool, hello! Best friend zone here, we have a ton in common and still a little room to breathe, it's so nice to meet you.

21-25: Hey, wow, we're like the same person. We could probably talk for hours and just bond over our shared experiences. At this point, honestly I'm curious what you didn't get.

26-30+: Hey, are you my stalker? This was a very specific quiz. So long as you're not my stalker, we absolutely need to meet up because that's insane. We have SO much in common.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
