I.e: the yellow umbrella, the blue french horn, the olive theory.

5. Everything connects in one way or another.

Nothing is by accident and nothing is just said in the series for fun. The perfect example would be The Robin, the final page of Barney's playbook and the groundbreaking proposal.

It's admirable, and cringeworthy, during the bittersweet twists and turns of dating in modern times.

She is a complex character who changes from season one to season 9. She goes from being a career-centered woman with her guard up to being a career-centered woman with loyalty to the gang and love for her friends, no matter how many times they make fun of her for being Canadian!

10. This little number that showcased NPH's true talent and love of fashion.
