Everything happens for a reason

Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? I don't want to think of the what ifs or should I have done that? On July 1,2017 I was laying on the grass during that little storm we had. I faintly looked up at the sky while it was pouring down rain. it was hard to see while I looked up at the trees and imagined what if. My car was giving me issues. The one weekend I actually had plans. I was thinking was it meant to be? Why am I getting to having bad luck. Why me? I ask myself continuously what makes this world IT. Why are we forced to do certain things that may end up to be good or even great and some you need to deal with the consequences. Why do we have a voice in our head? How is our body working? Why do we meet certain people that once we're total strangers who became someone you can't live without? Why do we choose certain things? Why do we like certain people? Why do we dislike certain people? Why do we grow up to be certain people? Why this why that? Why does medicine help us get better? Why is the world like this? Why is each invention different but known to do great things? Why is the color blue, blue and not brown? Who made these names for these certain colors? Why are our parents our parents? It's crazy how this world is made. I have so many questions that are unanswered. But the same questions that are coming through my mind is, everything happens for a reason. Some things happen that you expect to happen and some things happen unexpectedly. We don't always choose what we want to happen. We just go with the flow. These questions often pop up in my head but strangely as far back as I can remember, when I was just a little girl I had all these questions I used to ask my parents and they never had a good answer. They always said "I'm not sure" or " I don't know" but when I started to get older and older I decided to stop asking my parents these crazy questions because they obviously gave me an answer I didn't want to actually hear. That's when google came into my life. Shockingly my mom was shocked I knew how to work a computer. Most technology came easy for me, especially phones. But over the years I came true to myself that I won't be able to find out every single question roaming through my mind. Which I came to accept that. I 100 percent believe that everything happens for a reason. Do you? Do you believe that every bad situation turns into a good one? I'm aware that everyone's minds think different and occasionally think the same. We all have different ideas. We all like different things. Nobody is the same. I mean it's rare who likes everything you like. Nothing's impossible. But after 20 years of life, certain moments make me believe that everything happens for a reason.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
