So you're single on Valentines day, welcome to the club. There isn't anything particularly bad about being since on V day because well, that holiday isn't only about being with your significant other. It can also be about loving and appreciating your friends and family, because they also love too. But, I do know being single on that day kind of sucks, because it does feel lonely. Have no fear, however, here are some things you can do to entertain yourself on Valentines Day:

1. Treat yourself

We've all heard that famous phrase from Parks and Recreation, and you know what, Tom and Donna are right. Everyone deserves a day to treat yourself, so why not use Valentines Day as an excuse to do so.

2. Send love to your friends or family

Spend the day with them and remind them that they are loved too.

3. Do a "secret Valentine" with your friends

Kind of like secret santa only this time you'll be doing it on Valentines day.

4. Watch some movies with your celeb crush

Everyone needs some eye candy, even us single ladies.

5. Go to the movies

Either alone, or grab a group of friends, watch a Hollywood blockbuster after classes or work.

6. Have a Spa Day

If you can afford to go to an actual spa that is amazing, if not grab anything you'll need to have the best spa day at home.

7. Have a Foodie night

Eat all the food you want from pizza for dinner and an ice cream sundae for desert, it's the perfect day to eat how you want.

And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

3393
Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.
