We all have thoughts when we're working out, especially when it's in a group fitness setting. Here are five thoughts I have while working out that I hope you can relate to.
1. "This isn't THAT bad!"
We all have that moment during a workout, usually in the beginning or during the warmup where we realize it isn't that bad... or at least it's not bad YET. Just wait for it.
2. "I feel like the warmup shouldn't have been that hard."
Is everyone else as tired as I am after the warmup? It shouldn't have been this bad. Am I just really out of shape? Oh no, what have I gotten myself into?!?
3. "I think I'm the only one struggling."
Everyone's had that moment where they look around the room and feel like they're the only one struggling with a workout. Maybe it's just me because my face gets as red as a tomato.
4. "Oh no, this is TERRIBLE"
Why would I EVER do this to myself?! Tell my friends and family I loved them because there is no way I'm going to make it through this workout. I think I'm just gonna lay on the floor. You can just leave me here.
5. "I DID IT!"
When you do finally finish the workout, it is one of the best feelings in the world. You may have struggled the entire way through the workout, but you did it, and that's what matters. You have every right to be proud of yourself.
