Holiday Parties, As Told By Joey Tribbiani

If there's one thing Joey Tribbiani knows a thing or two about... girls? Making less than remarkable comments? Food? Yeah, he definitely specializes in memorizing each and every one of the food groups. Luckily for him, holidays and food tend to go well together!

Christmas is finally around the corner, and you can't wait for the best things of all... CHRISTMAS PARTIES!

It hit you that this will be the first time in months that all your family & friends will be in the same place... all together!

The best part about all of this? Seeing that cousin you only see on Christmas Eve?

Nope.

It's the FOOD.

Sure, you're excited for all the music and conversation, but you really came prepared to eat... a lot.

While your pals are showing off their ugly Christmas sweaters, you're trying to blend in...

...but you're just wearing all those layers to camouflage the couple of extra pounds you've put on this semester.

You'll probably be seen washing down those gingerbread cookies with a swig (or gallon) of milk...

... and we all know what you'll be having for dinner when everyone else is eating ham or turkey!

And finally, when your little cousin asks for a bite of your pie...

Happy Holidays, and more importantly...

Happy eating!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
