For most of us, our best friends are more like sisters who got separated from us at birth. If you're like me, you often care about your girls more than you care about yourself. So what do you do when a guy breaks their heart? Here are 5 steps to heal your best friends broken heart.

1. Be there.

I know this might sound obvious, but be there for her. Answer her FaceTime at 2 am, pick up the phone when she's calling you for the 4th time in a row. Show her you are there for her even though that terrible boy isn't anymore.

2. Support her.

Again, it seems obvious, but I gotta put it out there. If she decides that she wants to drown her sorrows with a gallon of ice cream and rewatch the Notebook, then go buy some ice cream. Let her heal in her own way and walk alongside her.

3. Don't judge.

I feel like this goes hand in hand with supporting her. If her way of getting over her broken heart is going out almost every night, don't pass judgment on her. You don't know what you would do if you were in her position. It's one thing to prevent her from making a life-altering decision like a tattoo she might regret in a month or so, but let her do her now that she finally can.

4. Dance it out.

Sometimes all it takes is a night with your girls, whether it's in your bedroom, or out on the town. Dance away all the tears and pain.

5. Remind her that he is not the sun, but that she is.

Sorry, I just had to throw in another Grey's quote because it is my favorite. But seriously, be the Cristina Yang to her Meredith Grey. Don't let that boy eclipse her light because she is the sun.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
