My dad and I used to watch a lot of Ghost Lab, and a popular site for ghost-hunter shows like this are hotels. Our love for Ghost Lab started us on a semi-weird goal of staying at haunted hotels when we travel. Some of these hotels we've already stayed at while others are on our bucket list. If we ever actually see a ghost, this habit of ours may change, but for now, do you think you could make it through a night at one of these haunted hotels in America?

1. Historic Bullock Hotel in Deadwood, South Dakota

What to expect: plates breaking in the restaurant, lights spontaneously turning off, unexplained footsteps, and the ghost of Bullock himself

2. Hotel Alex Johnson in Rapid City, South Dakota
