When you think of Hogwarts, you probably imagine Harry Potter and his sidekicks, all of who were in Gryffindor. Naturally, then, millions of muggles -I mean, Harry Potter fans- wish to be sorted into Gryffindor. Sadly, we can't all be in the house known for bravery and courage. But, there are wonderful things about each and every house...keep reading to find out!

In order to avoid showing favoritism to any house, we'll go in alphabetical order.

First, the daring and brave Gryffindor. Of course, we all know the famous members of this house: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, the list goes on. Although Gryffindors tend to be brave, they are sometimes reckless and dangerous, and sometimes engage in "pointless heroics". But, if you're in Gryffindor, be happy! You get to be in the same house as one of the biggest heroes at Hogwarts--Harry Potter. You are also probably up for a great adventure and would do anything for your friends.

Next, we have the dedicated and patient Hufflepuff. Muggles all adore Nymphadora Tonks and Cedric Diggory, who were both a part of Hufflepuff as Hogwarts students. Hufflepuff is packed full of kind, honest, and loyal people. Hufflepuff is in fact known to be the most inclusive house at Hogwarts, as well as the least competitive. So you're a Hufflepuff? Be excited! You may be considered friendly and trustworthy!

And who can forget the accepting and wise Ravenclaw? The clever Luna Lovegood began her magical education as a Ravenclaw, and according to JK Rowling, the Sorting Hat considered putting Hermione in Ravenclaw. The Ravenclaw house is full of intellectual and talented Hogwarts students. Even if some of your interests may be a little, well, strange sometimes. If you're a Ravenclaw, rejoice! The Sorting Hat has decided that you possess special skills and are intelligent enough to make it past the riddle of the Ravenclaw commons door.

Finally, the clever and ambitious Slytherin. Yes, some bad guys came out of Slytherin, but also some incredible witches and wizards, such as Horace Slughorn and Severus Snape, were Slytherins. Slytherins can sometimes be evil and cunning (@voldemort), but they can also be great leaders and full of determination. Be excited to be in Slytherin! You're most likely great at achieving your goals and would do anything for your friends and family.

See? JK Rowling made each house with several amazing qualities, so you should be happy with whatever house you get sorted into. Get on Pottermore and discover if you are a Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Gryffindor!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
