It’s officially Taylor Swift’s birthday and she’s 27! How did that happen? It seems like yesterday we heard a 15 year old girl on the radio singing her debut single “Tim McGraw” and now she’s the most popular person in the world, and by far the most successful. It’s an emotional day and it’s day that we get to look back on how successful Taylor has been and how much she’s grown into the young woman she is today.
Today, on Taylor’s birthday means two things for you and your inner Swiftie. 1, You celebrate by blasting Taylor’s entire musical catalog as loudly as possible (as if you don’t already do that in the first place) and 2, send a shoutout to her on social media to let her know you’re celebrating. You never know when she might be Taylurking. But there is one more thing we should do to celebrate. We should focus on who she is as a person, how she’s impacted this world and how much she means to those around her. We think that calls for a wonderful celebration.
For starters, Taylor has been claimed to be the most charitable celebrity multiple times, has won several awards, has an award named after her, millions of albums sold, fashion icon and friends that will back her up on anything. She is a living legend and those who are watching her and listen to her are experiencing history. That is what Taylor is doing. She is making history daily, and no, it’s not by the awards that she wins or the accomplishments she achieves, it’s the person she is to those that surround her, including her friends, family, label and her fans. No matter where she's at in life, she has people by her and beside her who love her.
Although this is true, as Swifties, we do love to brag about her accomplishments. She’s great at what she does, and is one of the best pop artists of this generation. So, here is numerical breakdown of every accomplishment Taylor has reached in her 27 years of life (note: these are simply just awarded accomplishments, although we know she has accomplished far more but if we stated everything, this article wold be a novel).
Awards won: 275
Nominations: 572
In just 27 years, Taylor has won 275 awards, has been nominated for 572 and is still making albums. In fact, she just released a chart-topping single with former One Directioner, Zayn called “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” and we are sure that it will get nominated or achieve some kind of success.
We Love You Taylor
