If you're like me you have been watching "Grey's Anatomy" since it premiered back in 2005. It feels crazy to say that I've been watching a show for twelve years. No matter when you started we still all feel the same way. Fans have been there through it all: plane crashes, deaths, births, laughter, and tears. These thirteen and a half seasons have been amazing and the 300th episode did not disappoint. Showrunner Shonda Rhimes says it was "a tribute to the fans". Along with the writers, Shonda made sure it would be like a fun nostalgic scavenger hunt. Here is everything that I picked up while watching the episode; tell me if I missed anything in the comments.

1. The original opening

The 300th episode started with the same theme song as the pilot episode. Why did they ever change it??

2. Meredith riding the ferry

Anyone who is a true fan knows that Derek loves ferry boats. In the opening scene of the episode, Meredith and Alex are on one. Derek's last scene ever was also on a ferry boat.

3. George and Cristina

As Meredith is getting ready to leave for the Harper-Avery awards, two patients come in that look exactly like George and Cristina. This catches Mer's eye and it turns out the two are actually residents. Cristina's look-alike Cleo matches her attitude because she knows she's the best at what she does. O'Malley completely freaks out but is extremely brave just like he was.

4. The new interns sitting in the tunnel

Anyone who has watched the first couple seasons knows that the tunnel is where the "fab five" used to always hang. The "glasses" intern also trips like George does in the pilot.

5. Pregnant Izzie

Izzie and Alex were briefly married so of course, this brings a huge flashback to him. I definitely saw the resemblance between the two. Like Jo, I was also weirded out about Alex holding her hand.

6. Amelia doing a CT scan because of Derek

Derek Shepherd died because doctors in a different hospital forgot to do a head CT on him. Amelia thinks of him often, obviously, and did one on Owen's patient just to be safe. Turns out she was correct and Derek saved yet another patient. Ugh, I miss him. #JusticeforDerek

7. Arizona's Mark impression

While she is doing a C-section on look-alike Izzie, Arizona talks about Mark. She tells her that her daughter (and Mark's) Sofia is coming to stay with her. Then she does a spot-on impression of the late doctor and makes us miss him even more.

8. Alex lifting look-alike Izzie up

When Denny died, Izzie was obviously a mess. Who wouldn't be? Alex did the right thing and picked her up from his bedside.

9. Meredith's fear of flying

Zola was adopted by Meredith and Derek. We have seen her grow up over the years and I think it's really nice she wants to be a doctor just like her mom and dad.

10. Look-alike Cristina calls Meredith "Surgeon Royalty"

All throughout Season 1, when someone would find out Meredith's last name they would call her mom "surgeon royalty".

11. Meredith winning the Harper-Avery Award

Meredith is an amazing doctor just like her mom. However, I'm a little salty that she got the award before Cristina.

12. Jackson mentioning Lexie

Ever since Lexie died in the plane crash, there hasn't been much mention of her on the show. It was refreshing to relive the memories of Little Grey.

13. Meredith seeing Ellis

Okay, cue the tears. When Meredith won the award and she looked up at the skybox, Kate Burton was staring right back at her.

14. Alex talking about Izzie

Jo says that Alex can call Izzie because she can tell he misses her. He declines and says that he already imagined her life now. Giving an elaborate story of Izzie's life is just the tribute we needed. The story Alex tells is actually accurate to Katherine Heigl's real life.

15. Sofia saying she misses mama

Sofia came to live with Arizona after leaving Callie. When Sofia says she misses Callie, Arizona replies "me too".

16. Owen saying he doesn't see the Cristina look-alike resemblance

Then Owen follows it up with "There's no one like Cristina. No one".

17. Arizona saying she got three different types of ice cream

Mark said that he picked out three different types of ice cream

18. Cristina calling while Alex and Meredith sit in the tunnel

When Cristina called I couldn't hold the tears in anymore. Even though she also deserves a Harper-Avery award. They are the only three original interns left. They also drank champagne in paper cups just like they used to celebrate.

300 episodes and nothing will beat this awkward moment...

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
