Over the past few months, Kanye West has made a return to social media and continues to throw us curve balls. He has announced almost five projects he’s working on and the internet was not even sure if they could believe him. Kanye first announced Pusha T’s album that would be released May 25th. Each Friday after the 25th, the G.O.O.D music family would release a project for five weeks. After Pusha T is Kanye’s album, followed by Kanye & Kid Cudi collab album titled “Kids See Ghosts.” The streak continues with an album from Nas and looks like it will finish off with a Teyana Taylor album.

Pusha T’s “Daytona” album featured seven hard hitting tracks that were all produced by Kanye. The album delivered some amazing sounds and the samples were very unique. After hearing all seven tracks, I was impressed by the performance of both Pusha T and Kanye. They created an effective body of work that runs for only 21 minutes.

Kanye’s album released on Friday, June 1st as expected. I thought the album was really powerful in regards to the lyrics and production overall. Kanye may have had a rough few weeks prior to the release of his new album but he made his stance on the project. His music continues to inspire creatives across the world whether it be through what he is saying or just the music itself. There’s no doubt that Kanye is still a master in this world of music. It is clearly shown in this first two album releases from Pusha T and himself. Let’s see if he can keep it up with the releases coming next!

We can expect Kanye and Kid Cudi’s collaborative project this Friday, June 8th. In the past, anything that Kanye and Cudi work on turns to gold. When Kanye announced this project through a tweet, the internet went absolutely crazy. On “The Life of Pablo” Cudi’s contributions to “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” took the track to the next level. I cannot wait to see what this project entails for the fans across the world. Both Kanye and Cudi have been through some tough mental health problems over the years so it would be nice to hear them speak on it. The power of their words can help so many people so let’s hope they do just that.

As for now Teyana Taylor’s album will be the final album of the G.O.O.D music consecutive Friday album releases. To be completely honest, I have not listen to a lot of Teyana Taylor’s music but I know one thing forsure. If Kanye West is behind the production, it’s bound to be musically genius.

G.O.O.D Music is without a doubt blessing us this summer with a ton of music. We can also expect projects coming from Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, and possibly even Big Sean before the year is over. Keep your eye out for new music and all of the upcoming projects from Kanye and the team!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
