I am a foodie. I love to eat, try new foods and also try new restaurants. I'm that person who will make you wait 10 minutes before you can eat your food, just so I can take a picture of it. I currently live in Raleigh and I'm constantly going out to eat, finding new, cool restaurants, and always going back to my favorite spots. Raleigh is a city with new and creative restaurants that are always popping up. I am always convincing my friends to come along with me to my favorite go-to spots in Raleigh. I have a super long list of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. Here are eight of the best places in Raleigh for each meal (and snack) of the day!
1. Jubala
This is a great spot for breakfast. My go to order: bacon, egg, avocado, and cheese biscuit with an almond latte. It never disappoints.
2. Sola
Everything on the menu looks good at Sola, especially their avocado and heirloom tomato toast accompanied by their maple cinnamon latte. This another breakfast favorite.
3. Raleigh Raw
Raleigh Raw has a menu filled with yummy drinks, teas, smoothies, and poke—a perfect place for a lunch stop! You should also try faroe monch poke bowl!
4. City Market Sushi
City Market Sushi has beautiful rolls and delicious appetizers. Go during the week for lunch to get their bento box specials!
5. Buoy Bowls
Follow the Buoy Bowls truck around the Raleigh area for frozen treats: acai bowls and smoothies make for the perfect mid-day snack!
6. Yellow Dog
Another great place for a pick-me-up is Yellow Dog—a bakery filled with some of the best baked goods, bread, and coffee drinks in Raleigh (in my opinion).
7. Beasley's Chicken + Honey
If you haven't tried Beasley's chicken and waffles (ask for honey on the side), you are seriously missing out. This is the perfect dinner spot.
8. Guasaca
Guasaca is one of my favorite places in Raleigh for a quick and yummy dinner. Its chicken bowls always hit the spot, along with chips and guasaca sauce.
