Start Giving Donald Trump What You Expect Out Of Him: Respect

Don't forget about the Golden Rule.

Start Giving Donald Trump What You Expect Out Of Him: Respect

Ah, the Golden Rule: "Treat others as you wish to be treated."

I remember years ago looking up at the top of a chalkboard in an elementary school and seeing these exact words printed in a fun font and lots of colors.

The rule of respecting others used to be so important; however, it seems as if just everyone forgets about it when it comes to our President of the United States, Donald Trump.

From protests to death threats, impeachment threats, and hate slogans, Donald Trump has been thrown so much shade and hate. Even Barron Trump, Donald's younger son, was mentioned with hate on social media. A child. Melania Trump proceeded to fire back to protect her son.

I'm not saying that everyone has to like him and his family. However, I am saying that many of the "anti-Trump" events that are going on now, from threats to rallies, are immature, a waste of time, and just plain annoying. Most of the time, they even end in violence. I don't understand why people put in that much effort for something and against someone who apparently is "not their president."

(Also, this saying is getting so old. He's your president. Deal with it.)

The thing about it is that many anti-Trump arguments bring up how "he hasn't done anything for us," but how could he with everyone critiquing his every move? Those against Trump need to basically shut up for a few minutes and let him do what he wants to do, and that's when we will start seeing that change he talked about in his campaign.

Once again, this article is not to attack anyone but to try and prevent some of the attacks that the Trump haters are throwing in the direction of literally anyone involved. Especially the attacks against his family, his own children.

I see so many articles today that are negative, but for once, let's try and be positive.

He has done us good the past few years.

He appointed the first female CIA director.

He freed 19 people from foreign captivity.

He helped America reach the lowest unemployment rate in half a century.

He passed so much legislation regarding important issues like sex-trafficking.

These are just a few of the many things he has done for this country. Think about that the next time you attack his young son or the designs of his daughter's fashion company.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
