In honor of the long waited return of Gilmore Girls... I hereby present 10 Gilmore Girl Goofs:

10. Unwritten Book

In season three, Emily sends Lorelai a book to read that is about Europe. However, this couldn't be the book she read when Rory was conceived because Rory was born in 1984, but the book wasn't published until two years later.

9. Dean's Cell Phone

In season 4, Dean says he finally got his first cell phone. However, he has had a cell phone starting in season 2 at the latest. Paris even calls it.

8.The Gilmore Mansion

The Gilmore mansion entrance changes.

7. Luke's Diner

In season 1 episode 1, Luke's diner is considerably smaller than it is in the rest of the season and Luke's diner is also located in the middle of the block, where in later episodes it is located on the corner.

6. Lorelai's Baby Pictures

Emily mentions that Lorelai burned all her baby pictures when she was seven because she had a big head. However, earlier in the first season, Rory, Emily and Richard look at Lorelai's baby pictures.

5. Kirk is Mick

Kirk introduces himself as Mick in the first episode when he is delivering swans to the Independence Inn.

4. Sherry Wanting Kids

In season 3, Sherry says that Gigi was unplanned and that she is not a baby person. However, in the episode featuring Sherry's first appearance, in season 2, Rory mentions that Sherry really wanted children and was considering single parenthood.

3. Jess' Father

When Jess first comes to live with Luke, Luke mentions that Jess' father left two years prior. At the time that Jess' dad left he was a teenager (around 15). However, when said father appears later in the series, it is brought up that he left when Jess was a baby.

2. Lorelai the First

Richard, Emily, and Lorelai talk about Richard's mother, Lorelai the first, as if she is dead in season 1 episode 3. Later in he series, Richard's mother makes several appearances.

1. Meeting Luke

It is mentioned that Lorelai moved into the Independence Inn shortly after having Rory. However, it is later stated that she did not meet Luke until ten years later. In such a small town, they would have met much sooner.

So, for all the college students using Gilmore Girls to procrastinate their problems...

Keep calm and watch on!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
