The people of gilgit are very loving ,innocent ,very hospitable ,they are very hardworking most of them spend their time in cultivation. Agriculture is the main source. ,their women are well known for their handicrafts of unique designs this trend has come to them from their forefathers,ancesters

The rate of education is the highest in pakistan 100% everyother person is literate

The. Famous game of this state is polo which is played with horses and jockeys with hockey sticks and they have to place a goal as in soccer it is an interesting game

Other than this soccer ,cricket hockey are also played there

It is a place where you can find many ancient stupas and things related to bhudism
