Fall is definitely one of the best and most beautiful times of the year, which makes gift-giving in the fall even more fun and exciting! Here are some clever fall-related gift ideas for you to try this season.

1. A trip to an orchard.

Who doesn't love a trip to the orchard to pick out apples and pumpkins and get hot cider and doughnuts? Going to an orchard is also a great opportunity to take some pictures worthy of Instagramming.

2. Cider and doughnuts.

If you don't like cider and donuts, you're definitely lying. Getting them fresh from the orchard as a gift makes them taste even better.

3. Baked pumpkin bread.

Baked goods are a true gift of love, and why not use that and the fact that it's fall and everything pumpkin spice goes as an opportunity to make a loved one super happy?

4. COMFY SWEATERS.

Fall is the time for super cute and comfy sweaters, and almost anything goes when it comes to sweaters, and they're super easy to find this time of year. Sweaters can last for years and are super versatile for half of the year.

5. Pumpkin spiced candles.

The BEST candle in the fall is one that smells like pumpkin spice because again, fall is the time for pumpkin spice lovers to shine. There's nothing that says fall more than a pumpkin spice candle burning in your home, giving it that warming aesthetic that you wait for all year.

6. Fall home decor.

I think that most people like to dress up their personal spaces according to the seasons, giving them something to look forward to in times of stress (a.k.a. always) and the gift of fall-themed decor for one's dorm, apartment, office space at work or house can be the perfect gift that makes it easier for that person to decorate when the time comes around.

7. Fall-themed jewelry.

Another opportunity for celebrating the season, fall-themed jewelry can be a great option. Leaves, pumpkins, etc., you name it and it has the potential to be a great accessory of a gift.

8. Chunky socks.

Another favorite, when the cool air blows in everyone knows that it's time to whip out the chunky or fuzzy socks that have been waiting all year in their closet. Lots of socks are super cheap and can make awesome gifts.

9. A nature walk.

Super easy and free, taking a walk around the woods as the leaves are changing is a great way to show someone that you care about them. Nature can be stress-relieving, and especially beautiful with all of the leaves changing. Since it's fall, there's also less of chance that you'll break out into a sweat with the cooler air. Again, did I mention that this is free? Bonus.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
