Holy shit. "Game of Thrones."

Tonight, HBO aired the season finale of "Game of Thrones," and let me just say, it did not disappoint. Obviously, if you haven't watched it yet, *SPOILERS AHEAD*

Tonight was a night of revenge, murder, and conquering. From King's Landing to Mereen, the women of "Game of Thrones" were out for iron and blood. As many suspected, Cersei Lannister avoided her trial and carried out Aerys Targaryen's hidden mission, unleashing the secret wildfire beneath King's Landing, and therefore killing all in attendance.

The explosions had many casualties: Margaery Tyrell, her brother Loras, Lancel (Cersei's zealous cousin), and the High Sparrow, not to mention the countless number of religious followers.

Of those spared: King Tommen, who had not attended the trial. He watched on as King's Landing burnt, realizing that he had lost his queen and many others. In an unexpected turn of events, Tommen removed his crown, climbed onto his windowsill and walked off, killing himself. The witch's prophecy was correct. Cersei's children were no more. With the smell of burning corpses still in the air, Cersei Lannister claimed the Iron Throne and started the countdown to her own death.

The Iron Throne delivers both power and a death sentence, as many have learned the hard way, and I have a feeling that won't soon change. There's blood in the streets and on Cersei's hands. Will Jaime Lannister receive the title of Queenslayer, now that his son is dead and his sister sits on his throne?

Speaking of the Iron Throne, a certain dragon queen has begun her journey to Westeros. After dumping her lover, Daario Naharis, Daenerys had a heartfelt moment with Tyrion Lannister, at the end of which she named him Hand of The Queen. She admitted fear, but Tyrion assured her that she was the rightful ruler, and he would be by her side always.

With that, Daenerys Stormborn left Mereen, dragons and Greyjoy ships in tow, and set forth for King's Westeros. Little does she know that King's Landing is now a pyre, and she must battle a lion for the throne. Cersei may be ruthless, but Daenerys is a force to be reckoned with.

The Stark women held their own tonight. Despite the advances of Littlefinger, Sansa Stark maintained her newfound confidence and watched on as her brother Jon Snow was declared King of the North. The North remembers, and will never forget. I'm glad that Sansa held her own and refused to let Littlefinger play her. After escaping all of the men who have made her life hell, I'm happy to see her blossom into a woman of power.

In a moment of pure satisfaction, Walder Frey met his end at the hands of Arya Stark, who slit his throat in the same manner as Catelyn Stark's had been, after serving him a pie made from his own sons à la "Titus Andronicus." I have to admit, I most definitely cheered her on but found myself confused. Arya had slipped into Riverrun under the guise of another's face. If she had reclaimed her name, how could she have gotten another's face? Had she stolen it before leaving the House of Black and White? Regardless, revenge was a dish best served hot.

Clearly, the women stood out tonight. But I have to depart from that and bring up the most shocking part of the finale. For those who have read the books, or closely follow the show, you have most likely heard the "R+L=J" theory (Rhaegar Targaryen + Lyanna Stark = Jon Snow). Tonight, the theory was officially confirmed, as Bran finally witnessed the rest of the vision we saw a few episodes back. Ned Stark went up into the Tower of Joy, only to see his sister Lyanna lying in a bed, covered in blood from the waist down. She told Ned she did not want to die, and pulled him closer, telling him "His name is____________(inaudible words here), protect him. Promise me." After Ned promises, a bundle is then brought forward, revealed to be a newborn baby. The baby opens his eyes, revealing the brown irises of our beloved Jon Snow. Pardon me, Jon (probably not his real name) Targaryen.

JON SNOW IS A TARGARYEN.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL, PEOPLE.

What happens now? If news of Jon's true parentage comes to light, the target on his back grows larger, as he has the most claim to the Iron Throne of anyone, including Daenerys.

I have no other words, except that I cannot wait to see where this story progresses. I am officially on the edge of my seat, ready to watch the Game proceed.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
