11 Twitter Accounts To Follow For When You Need A Mid-Day Laugh

I feel like people all know about Wendy's, Arby's, or Moonpie's twitter accounts, which are great, but I wanted to find some really different ones to share that still put out a good punch.

11 Twitter Accounts To Follow For When You Need A Mid-Day Laugh

In This Article:

I keep thinking Twitter is gonna just up and die one day, although that really may be more of a hope than an honest thought.

Why though do I think that? The immeasurable amount of hate and anger that it seems to create. Obviously, this isn't unique to Twitter, but it something about their platform just makes it feel so much more in the open.

But I feel like I tend to look on for the good in things full of hate, and Twitter still has those gem moments and pieces of it as well.

There are SO MANY hilarious tweets that just tend to pop up here and there—but sadly the original poster isn't always as funny as the tweet that brought me to him.

As such I've assembled a list of 11 twitter accounts that all had mostly solid tweets throughout their history. I feel like people all know about Wendy's, Arby's, or Moonpie's twitter accounts, which are great, but I wanted to find some really different ones to share that still put out a good punch.

These that I've found very in beliefs and ideas, which I think is important to have in humor. Not everything can be made into something funny, but a pretty good percentage of things can.

1. @SortaBad.

SortaBad occasionally has a bit of a crude sort of humor, but a decent bit of theyre tweets get a chuckle outta me.

2. @s8n.

The S8n account is just too good to pass up. I don't know what draws this to me, but I think the idea of Satan sitting on a toilet sending tweets out to the masses is just something that has stuck in my head.

3. @pixelatedboat.

An online cartoon artist, their twitter game is just as strong as their art game.

4. @ElleOhHell.

If this tweet with Star Wars AND donuts isn't enough to convince you of their amazingness, well, you just need to leave.

5. @pleatedjeans.

I kind of hope that by bringing this account up, that @pleatedjeans will start tweeting again. They haven't been gone too long... but long enough to be missed. 😢

6. @RacismFactory.

Ehh.... not a fan of the name... I mean there are definitely worse names, and I'm all for being edgy, but this might be pushing my edge scale. But still, his tweets like the one I've posted hit a little close to home.

7. @loneblockbuster.

As I said, we all know the big name twitter accounts that are funny, but those are name brands. This may be well known, but I think the fact it's literally for this single blockbuster is amazing. Maybe if Blockbuster had a PR person like this they'd still be open.

8. @PicturesFolder.

Just a Twitter account who solely posts the dumb, but funny, kind of photos you may save in a sleep deprived state of being.

9. @cheeseboy22.

I don't know what CheeseBoy's aesthetic, but I really don't care either. His Tweets are almost as good as his profile picture.

10. @Duchess______.

First off, if you're trying to remember this Twitter handle there are FIVE underscores. Any amount below will lead you to either deactivated or completely unrelated accounts. Second off, all her tweets are fucking fire.

11. @realDonaldTrump.

LOL.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Whether you're commuting or dorming, your first year of college is a huge adjustment. The transition from living with parents to being on my own was an experience I couldn't have even imagined- both a good and a bad thing. Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
