It took me many articles, a few Pinterest posts and a long time later to narrow down exactly the essentials I would need for college. Hopefully, through your college information quest, you will be able to either rebuy some of these things or purchase for your first time at college.

Either way, here are your must-needs to kick start your college adventure:

1. Shower caddy

2. Shower towels

3. Blow dryer, straightener, and curling iron

4. Body wash

5. Shampoo and conditioner

6. Desk lamp

7. Box fan

8. Power strip

9. Bed risers

10. Mattress topper

11. 2 sets of sheets

12. Detergent

13. Actual school supplies. etc pencils and pens

14. Makeup remover

15. Skincare products

While all of these are things I 100% needed for my school, every school is different. Your beds already may be risen so you wouldn't need the bed risers and vice versa. The best tip I have to compare what is on your school website to the Bed Bath & Beyond list specific to your school. Then from there make a checklist of everything you need!
