Oh my god, I get to go on a formal somewhere cool!

What do you mean it's an 8 hour bus ride?

Trying to sleep on the bus but people are already drinking by hour two and you don't know how they are ever going to make it.

When you finally decide to join in on the drinking at hour 7 and are still confused as to how everyone who started drinking 5 hours ago are still thriving.

Yes! You made it the 8 hour bus ride and have finally made it to wherever you were trying to go and get to go out and explore the city.

Having an absolute blast that first night in the city.

Waking up the morning after getting to the formal destination and wondering how you will possible do it all again that night but knowing you have to rally.

Walking around the day of the formal trying to figure out where to eat that doesn't have at least an hour wait because no one in the city goes out before noon.

Tasting that first bite of food and realizing that your hangover was really just starvation and you feel the life being restored to you.

You walk around with a bunch of people hearing the stories of the night before and you wonder how so many people could do so many wild things in such a short period of time.

It's only 4 p.m. but you are already pregaming for formal which doesn't even start until 10 p.m. but you're also wondering when the dinner reservation is because you are starving again.

You realize you have began drinking without putting on your makeup for later that night so you just know things are going to look a little rough.

Alright it's finally time for dinner and many of the people in your group are significantly drunk and you just hope that they can get through dinner without causing a scene.

You get to dinner and once again the food brings you life, but the waiters are definitely making fun of the table and the people who are obviously speaking a little too loudly.

You get to formal and find out that there is an open bar and decide to limit yourself, but then you slowly realize that you have been there for 4 hours and your limit of 4 drinks has gone out the window as you danced and let loose some because why not.

It is now 3 a.m. and some people start bar hopping and you just want to go back and shower because you're feet are killing you and you know the bus leaves at 9 a.m. and you haven't even began packing.

Getting back to the hotel and you sit down to take off your shoes and before you know it you're waking up at 8 a.m. because you still have to pack everything.

A shower is definitely required and you just know that you won't make the check out time, but that's ok because its not likely that anyone else will either.

You finally are packed and showered and make it onto the bus as others stumble on. Some still drunk from the night before while others are dying of a hangover already.

The beauty of getting on the bus though is knowing that you have 8 hours of people who are just as hungover as you and you will hopefully be able to sleep.

To your dismay, some brilliant guys decide to bypass the hangover and continue drinking on the way home and you begin to wonder if you can convince the bus driver to throw them off the bus.

After 8 hours of bus rides you finally make it back with some weird stories from a weird city and a hotel which will most likely never let fraternities stay there again.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
