Lately I have been researching what the new trends will be for next year and I have been doing a lot of reading on even the marketing strategies. Below is what my research concluded;
gender neutral clothing will increase

With today's day and age and especially with gen z (me) clothing companies are going to start offering more unisex items and ways to style clothing for both guys and gals. A big part of this movement has been influenced by the now accepted LBGQ community.
increase of opposite gender marketing
In the future it is predicted that marketing for different sexes will begin to be removed. Companies are going to now work on capturing and engaging the customer that is not typically geared towards their product. Example: Lululemon mostly sells to women so they brought in a men's line and are trying to attract more male customers.
greater efforts towards sustainability

Thankfully the environmental and social aspects of what is happening within the fashion industry is starting to be recognized and people are becoming more informed on ways to be sustainable. Which is leading to an increase of sales for products marketed eco-friendly or that give back to some sort of community or organization.
neutrals
When will neutrals really not be in style; this years I have seen lots of neutral monochromatic (one color) outfits and I'm loving it. Lots of mixing different shades of tan, white, and cream together while still making it interesting by having different textured garments.

You may see this fun pop of color this upcoming season, and I mean how could I not throw in a picture of this interesting men's satin suit.
