The last three weeks of the semester are filled with many emotions and feelings for the average college student, most notably: crying, laughing, anxiousness, excitement, nervousness, panic, worry, hunger, frustration, aggravation, love, happiness, and sleepiness--in no particular order. We are excited to return home to our beloved families, friends, most importantly pets, and our cozy beds (that is, if our parents haven't turned our bedrooms into office space yet) but worried about passing our final exams. We look forward to the winter holidays, but we have yet to buy gifts for everyone on our lists.

In celebration of Taylor Swift's new album, reputation, here are ten things we all experience the last three weeks of the semester, as told by the pop phenom:

1.

When the professor assigns extra reading assignments on the same night that Elf is airing on Freeform. He's such a grinch!

2.

When your entire floor/building decides to do Secret Santa but you're extremely broke and, honestly cannot buy any more gifts this year. Susan from the first floor won't want the new knitting needles you bought for your grandmother, anyways.

3.

That awesome feeling you get when it's finally cold enough outside for hot cocoa--with tiny marshmallows--and that new winter white sweater that has been hiding out in the back of your closet since September. Not to mention, all of the Instagram photo ops will get you into the holiday mood.

4.

Whenever you walk into a store near campus, the holiday tunes from The Nutcracker Ballet make you want to dance, right there in the cold & flu aisle. Like Taylor, you've got some serious moves, and you aren't afraid to show them off.

5.

You cram for all of your final exams at the last minute in some bathroom, because the bathroom toilets were the only open seats in the library. When your parents asked you what you wanted for the holidays this year you said: "To pass all of my exams."

6.

You roll out of bed and go to your 8 a.m. 2p.m. class in pajamas because you -can't even- at this point in the semester. Plus, now everyone gets to see your cute, festive pajamas, so it's a win-win.

7.

It starts to get dark outside around 4 p.m, and equally as cold. If you're unfortunate enough, it'll snow, too, during your trek across campus to the dining hall for dinner.

8.

You can't go out with your friends on the last weekend of the semester because you're stuck inside the library studying for that Physics exam.

9.

The campus radio station is playing holiday music, your friends buy a fake tree to decorate, Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas programming is on television, and your sorority is hosting a holiday party!

10.

You manage to pass all of your finals and you are headed home for a well-deserved break!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
