My Favorite Color Is Associated With Freedom

Everyone has a color that captures their attention. It could be the color the sky looks after a storm has blown through or it could be the color of your cheeks after you just embarrassed yourself.

My favorite color is a color that everyone sees every day. It is the color of your lips after you been out way too long in cold weather or the way you feel after something terrible has happened to you.

It is my favorite flavor of all things: Gatorade to Jolly Ranchers. The shade of color that is mixed in my love’s eyes. My favorite color is what surrounds you in an early morning airplane ride. Nineteen is the number of crayons Crayola has in this particular color. It is the color that stays on your skin after a painful accident. It is the color of one of my favorite fruits.

It is the color of the old china your great-grandmother keeps in the kitchen cabinets that no one his allowed to touch. It is something you say when something unexpected happens to you.

My favorite color can be associated with freedom or inspiration. This color is on your favorite pair of pants that fit you just right. It is the color of the package of my favorite late night snack.

My favorite color is one of the colors of your birthstone if you were born in September. It is the color that naturally captures your eyes, it is the color you first see when you look up at the sky on a clear and sunny day. My favorite color can resemble cold. My favorite color is cool. My favorite color makes me happy and I hope you have a favorite color that makes you happy too.

Most of all, this is my favorite color.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
