I've lived on my own with my boyfriend for three years, and in that time, on top of cleaning other people's houses and watching numerous videos of TikToks of people cleaning, I have gathered together my favorite cleaning products. I present to you, my top five favorite cleaning products.

I love leaving behind a room with a fresh clean scent, and I always light a candle when I am finished to help get the homey feel after a clean-up!

Sprayway Foaming Action Glass Cleaner

I've used glass cleaners in the past, but when I recently started using this one, I realized I had to make the switch. it goes on nicely and leaves a beautiful clean mirror behind once you're done wiping it down. There's no streaks, which is my favorite part about a glass cleaner.

Pledge Lemon Furniture Polish

Out of all the furniture polishes and dusting products I have used in the past, Pledge is one of my favorites. Its various forms of dusting products always work extremely well with a microfiber towel and always leave the room you've used it on smelling lemon-y fresh.

Method All Purpose Cleaner

Just like with glass cleaners, I have used several all-purpose cleaners in the past, but this one I have recently started to use has to be my favorite. It works well, leaves a good, long-lasting fragrance behind, and it's also made with green technology, so it's better for the environment, which is always a plus!

Scrub Free Total Bathroom Cleaner

Transcend Limited / Instagram

I absolutely love this stuff! It definitely has earned its high rank on my list of favorite cleaning products. I have an old tile shower in the house I live in currently, and I spray this on, leave it for five minutes, and wipe it off. It leaves a fresh lemon scent behind, and it does a good job of cleaning soap scum!

Clorox Scentiva Toliet Bowl Cleaner

Clorox Singapore / YouTube

For my number one cleaning product, this one takes the cake! Clorox has always been a trustworthy brand in the past, but this line of toliet bowl cleaners has really stepped up their game. Coming out as a purpleish pink colored liquid, it does a good job of helping you do a not-so-pleasant job.

It also has a great smell afterwards, and their spray cleaner is a great product to use as well. I totally 10/10 recommend it, and it's bleach-free!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
