Classy Girls Wear Pearls

Classy girls wear pearls is by far my favorite blogger. I've been following her blog for four years, and she never disappoints. Sarah and her Husband, Kiel James Patrick, started their American-manufactured brand together. I've watched their family grow, first by getting married, then adopting their dog Bennie, and this year having their first child Harry. If you're a fan of New England charm and cute family pictures, I recommend following ClassyGirlsWearPearls.

Kate, aka Lonestarsouthern, is your classic southern belle. Based in Texas, you can hear her southern accent in her Instagram videos, and see her southern charm in every blog posts. Every week she features a latest and greatest post which has all of her favorite things she's wearing right now. If you subscribe to her email list, she'll send you happy mail! Happy mail is something she sends out every once in a while where she updates you on her life as well as share her wish list items and her favorite places to shop. Kate is the perfect blogger to follow if you want some southern charm in your life!

LCB Style

Caroline Bramlett, aka LCB Style, is a very inspirational blogger; she took an untraditional college path to make her dreams come true. Her blog focuses on her Christian values, her creative work, and her personal style. She loves to post about her travels as well. She posts at least once a day in her LCB Everyday section which features easy lists for people to shop, and by far my favorite part of her blog.

Sophie Shoelover

Sophie Schumacher is relatable to every teenage girl. She has the cutest outfits, funniest captions, and most relatable Snapchat and Instagram posts. Her blog is full of adorable outfits from her New England life. She hasn't posted on her blog in a while because she's studying abroad, so I would recommend following her on Instagram to see her adventures!

The Chronicles of Frivolity

The Chronicles of Frivolity blog is dedicated to "helping you feel a little more put together. With a sassy, feminine, approach to style, we believe that what's frivolous can also make your everyday fun!" Katey McFarlan has an adorable little girl who always keeps her Instagram and blog lively. She focuses on everyday outfits, giving lifestyle tips, and beauty. She appeals to the ordinary girl, and her southern charm is infectious!

Gal Meets Glam

Gal Meets Glam posts about fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and traveling. Julia Engel is very sophisticated and has a fantastic outfit for every occasion. She released her own line of dresses earlier this year, and they're stunning, and it's been fun to see her brand evolve from a dream to reality. The daily looks section of her blog is perfect for getting outfit inspiration, and it's one section I check religiously.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
