I like to watch fantasy television shows. Its a great escape for me and really enjoy the humor that is involved in most of the shows. I also think the characters are interesting. Listed below are my top 5 fantasy shows.

1. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

Buffy is my number one series. She is such a strong character and the fact that the slayers were girls is awesome. the series narrative follows Buffy Summers who is played by Sarah Michelle Geller, She is the latest in a line of young women known as "Vampire Slayers."

Slayers are chosen by fate to battle against vampires, demons and other forces of darkness. Buffy wants to live a normal life, but as the series progresses, she learns to embrace her destiny. Buffy is aided by her Watcher, who guides, teaches, and trains her. Unlike her predecessors, Buffy surrounds herself with a circle of loyal friends.

2. "The Originals"

I absolutely love this show, it's my opinion that even though its a spin-off of Vampire Diaries that it is much better. The show follows the first and oldest vampires the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah. The pilot revealed that the werewolf Hayley is pregnant with Klaus's child.

The show begins with the original siblings returning to the city of New Orleans for the first time since 1919. They built the city but were forced to flee from their vengeful father. In their absence, took charge of the city. Klaus resolves that they must take down Marcel and get back the city that once belonged to them.

3. "The Secret Circle"

I was very disappointed that his show only lasted one season especially since it was left with a cliffhanger. Cassie Blake mother dies and she is forced to move Chance Harbor, Washington, to live with her grandmother. The new town brings new friends and unfortunately new foes, when Cassie finds out she comes from a long line of witches Five other student shares the story with her, Adam Conant, Diana Meade, Faye Chamberlain, Melissa Glaser, and Nick Armstrong.

Cassie refuses to believe that she is a witch, it is only after she discovers an old leather-bound book of spells left to her by her late mother, Amelia, that Cassie begins to accept her power.

4. "Supernatural"

This is just a fun show for me to watch, the bond between Sam and Dean is central to the story. The series begins by introducing the brothers Dean & Sam Winchester, deciding to follow in their father's footsteps as "hunters", fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.

5. "Angel"

Angel was originally a character on Buffy, but he had enough story to have his own series. I enjoyed this series for a few seasons but I became disappointed in the direction the series went, but it's still one of my top shows. The story of Angel history, he is a vampire whose human soul was restored to him by gypsies as a punishment for the murder of one of their own.

A century of murder and the torture of innocents, Angel's restored soul torments him with guilt and remorse. Angel moves to Los Angeles, California, knowing that he can't stay in Sunnydale because his relationship with Buffy created chaos in the world.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
