Something many of us Americans look forward to each year is state and county fairs. Some people go to the fair for the rides, the games, or the petting zoo, but the majority of us go because of the food.

Due to the pandemic, most fairs this year were canceled, but not without some push back from the people. Like most things this year though, the people lost, and many of us had to go without our yearly funnel cakes, pizza on a stick, and cotton candy.

To help with your cravings, I compiled a list of some of the top fair foods and their recipes so you can get your fried food grub on from home this year. Hopefully, one of these hits the spot just right and holds you over until next year.

So, although many of us didn't have the opportunity to attend our local and state fairs this year, hopefully making some of these recipes will make you feel like you did. Now go and make something sweet and fried, because honestly, there's nothing better.
