1. Most laugh tracks you hear in the background of TV shows were recorded in the 1950s... You're listening to dead people laugh.

2. Over your lifetime, you will probably walk past a dozen murderers (or even more).

3. Turtles breathe through their butts.


4. There are approximately 2,368 species of bacteria living in your belly button. Right now.

5. One in four Americans believes the sun revolves around the Earth.

6. The fruit you just bought at the grocery store? It was probably covered in fruit flies.

7. Your kitchen sponge has more bacteria than your toilet.

8. You can crush a human's trachea with less force than it takes to crush a soda can.

9. The U.S accidentally dropped two nuclear bombs on North Carolina in the 1960s. Parts of one of the bombs remain buried somewhere in the state.

10. There was one time in your life when your parents picked you up, put you down and never picked you up again.
